Are minors accepted?

Access to the Cosmic Mountain Festival is strictly restricted to persons aged 18 and over. Participants must have reached this age before the start of the festival.

How do I get to Val Thorens?

To come to Val Thorens, you have several options:

By car : Val Thorens is accessible by road via the A43 motorway to Albertville, then by the N90 to Moûtiers. Then, follow the signs to “Val Thorens”.

By train : The nearest train station is Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains, about 37 km from Val Thorens. From there, shuttles or taxis are available to reach the station.

By plane : The nearest airports are those of Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry or Grenoble. Transfers by bus or taxi are then possible to Val Thorens.

By bus : Bus connections are available from train stations or airports to the station.

Is the festival accessible for people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility ?

The premises are designed to accommodate people with disabilities (PSH) and people with reduced mobility (PMR). However, keep in mind that this is a ski resort, and that some accesses, especially those to the stages located in the ski area, may present additional challenges.
Numerous accommodations (hotels, residences...), restaurants, services (Tourist Office, car parks...) are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Where can I park my car on site?

In Val Thorens, parking in car parks is mandatory. You can reserve your parking space with your package. Remember to reserve your parking space 7 days before your arrival. More information here: https://www.valthorens.com/sejour/venir-a-val-thorens/parkings/

How do I get around the station?

During my stay, I have two options for getting around the station:

By free shuttle: they run in the station every day from 8 am to 8 pm and serve all areas of the station. (Schedules and service map to be found here)
On foot: The station can be crossed in 20 minutes on foot.

Where can I use my ski pass and how long is it valid for?

The pass is valid on all slopes in the Val Thorens and Orelle ski areas. It is valid on Saturday 19 April, Sunday 20 April, Sunday 20 April and Monday 21 April. (3V extension possible)

Can I access all stages of the Cosmic Mountain Festival?

With the Full Moon Package, you have access to all the festival stages (Folie Douce, 360, Arena, Malaysia).
With the Moon package, you only have access to the stage (Arena).
With the Proprio season pass, you have access to the stage (Arena).
All mountain scenes will be accessible by ski lifts. A ski pass is included in the Full Moon and Moon package.

Where can I buy my pass?

You can buy your pass directly on the page -PACKAGE-Please note that there will be a cash register on site depending on availability.

When do I get my pass?

You will receive your travel documents no later than 7 days before departure. In case of problems, you can contact the Val Thorens reservation center.

When will I receive my reservation information?

After your payment has been accepted, you will receive an email containing the confirmation and details of your order.

Les billets sont-ils nominatifs à l’entrée du festival ?

Les billets grand public ne sont pas soumis au contrôle d’identité à l’entrée du festival. Ils ne sont donc pas nominatifs. Mais vous aurez un bracelet pour accéder aux différentes scènes du festival.

What types of accommodations are offered?

There are two types of accommodation possible in the package: either in a hotel or in an apartment.

How do I book a group?

If you want to stay in the same accommodation with a group, it is necessary to make your reservation all at once. The person in charge of booking will receive all the necessary information as well as the tickets of the participants.

I can't come to the festival, is it refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

Can you bring your own food/drink to the Cosmic Mountain Festival?

No, for safety reasons and to ensure a quality experience for all, it is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to the Cosmic Mountain Festival. Food stands and bars will be available on site to offer you a wide choice of food and drinks to suit all tastes and dietary needs.

What happens if someone takes a photo or video of me during the festival?

The Cosmic Mountain Festival team informs you that the event will be filmed. By participating, you agree that your image may be used to promote the event.

What musical genre is represented in the Cosmic Mountain Festival?

The Cosmic Mountain Festival is dedicated to electronic music lovers! The line-up offers a range of styles ranging from melodic and tropical house to techno and acid. Our programming promises you an immersive musical experience in the heart of the mountains.

How should you dress for the festival?

The Cosmic Mountain Festival will take place in a variety of locations, with outdoor stages (such as 360 and La Folie Douce) and indoor stages (including Malaysia and the Arena). We therefore advise you to wear clothing adapted to mountain conditions: remember to dress warmly for outdoor spaces and to wear diapers that are easy to remove to enjoy the indoor scenes where the atmosphere will be warmer.
There will be a cloakroom in the arena and in Malaysia.

Can I book a VIP table and how?

For partner locations such as Le 360, La Folie Douce and Le Malaysia, we invite you to contact them directly to book a VIP area. For the main stage in the arena, you can contact the festival team via our website.

I am an artist, can I play at the festival?

If you are interested in doing a set during the festival, please send an email to animation@valthorens.com with a link to your mixs/social networks. There will be a stage for springboard DJs.

Can I work for the festival?

If you are interested in working for the festival, please send an email to animation@valthorens.com

What safety devices are in place to ensure the safety of festival-goers?

Trained security teams will be present throughout the site to supervise events and ensure compliance with safety instructions. Entry control devices are also in place. In case of emergency, emergency points and a medical team will be available in the arena and for locations in the ski area, the Val Thorens ski service remains available to ensure rapid assistance.
